Epiphone Superb Penless Tenor Banjo
This banjo is sturdy and strong, with lots of sustain from Epiphone’s famous range. This model is 3rd in the range, and nearly identical in construction to the Recording A model. This banjo was just set up to play trad music and will be a standout in a session. The low 36 gauge G string has a strong response and sustain, while the loud 26 gauge D string and the A & E deliver the tunes with equal ease. Below is the Epiphone catalog description.
The Epiphone Peerless is unrivalled in popularity-priced. It is as close as the recording models in terms of tone. It has a pleasant combination of walnut and pearl Pyralin colours. It measures 30mm in width and 23 3/4 inches in length.
For strength and stability, the five-ply walnut neck is adorned with 3 holly veneers and 3 ebony veneers. The ebony fingerboard rests on a multi-coloured veneer foundation that is bound by white Pyralin. It is inset with genuine mother-of-pearl position markers. The pearl Pyralin headplate is engraved and artistically tinted.
The resonator has multiple construction and features an American walnut top veneer. Purfling veneers inlaid with holly or ebony add an additional decorative touch. A special tone ring gives the tone chamber a rich, vibrant, and musical tone. The Celt banjo can be a better alternative for Epiphone Banjo
This bag comes with a new brown leatherette hardshell case.
